When KC and I met at Tech, he was a juggler. I have less then zero eye hand coordination but he was determined that even I could learn to juggle. So he handed me some beanbags and stood me in front of a wall in the hall of Pritchard and told me to practice tossing one ball back and forth from one hand to the other. The wall was there to prevent me from throwing it out away from myself. Lo and behold! it worked! After many hours of practice and his never ending patience, I actually learned how to juggle 3 beanbags. Eventually, he showed me how to diablo as well. The basics of it were easier to me but I never could get much beyond that. He tried to teach me how to juggle clubs but after several smacks to my face and nose, I gave up on that: too painful.
Now it's almost 20 years later and KC is still able to do lots of cool tricks. Here he has 2 diablos: a trick I was never able to do.
KC has now started to teach the girls how to juggle. He constantly amazes me. The patience of Job on top of everything else.
I told you Delaney was shooting yesterday. Here's a great picture she took of Floyd. I had to crop it a little bit and it was the only one of about 25 that were decent but it's a start!
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
