Today, Eyal and I went to Blacksburg for a class "Seeing Photographically" put on by the VT alumni association. The first session was about blue hour light painting. Some of it was pretty cool and for an occasional fun picture, it would be pretty cool but for the most part, I found it to be fairly gimmicky. I did learn quite a bit about long exposure shots though. This was the best of the evening. This one was a 15 second exposure at f8. I cropped it a little, darkened it up slightly to enhance the stars and killed some of the noise but I didn't play with the color.

I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
