Eyal and I spent the day shooting everything we could focus on. We had several short lessons and a shooting list. Then we went around and tried to find examples of the various techniques/strategies: Light, Quality and Direction, Vantage Point and Framing, Slow Shutter, Selective Focus and Super Simplify. This was actually shot at the end of the slow shutter section but I started playing with things. This was definitely NOT slow but I was practicing vantage point and framing. I stood on top of the fountain and shot directly down into it. I did very little to correct this one. At the end of the day we all gave our best shots to Kirk who combined them into a slide show that we watched during the banquet dinner. This was one I turned in. During the banquet, every time it came up on the screen, someone in the crowd made a remark about it. I was pretty proud of that.
