A few weeks ago, Macy came home from school with a pea plant in a cup. Her class had grown them as a part of their science unit on plants. Mrs. Zaccardo was kind enough to send home transplanting instructions. We were told that pea plants do best in a hanging basket. We looked for one but it's a teeny little thing and the only hanging baskets we found were ENORMOUS! We decided to dig out the frog pot we bought for her a few years ago and plopped it in there. She was extremely pleased to get a little dirt under her nails and we were thrilled to get one of the 2 plants we've been growing on our kitchen counter outside. Next up is Delaney's cabbage plant.
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
