OK, OK, I know I completely chopped off the person's head. I was shooting fast and focused on the dogs. They did not want to look at me without coming to give me kisses. Not the best photographic situation.
Regardless, here's the story:
I took Floyd for a walk today and he was not particularly happy about it. It's already in the 90s here and for a BT, that's about 15 degrees too hot. He starts panting seconds after leaving the house. Therefore, he is very cooperative to get his business done so he can get back in the AC. Today, as he was finishing up, we noticed another BT coming down the greenway! I'd seen glimpses of this guy a few times but have never met him. Turns out his name is Kip. They moved to the next street over about a year ago. Kip is about 8 years old and a lover to be sure. Floyd was a little much for him though. Poor Kip wasn't anywhere near as tolerant of Floyd's ankle biting tendencies a Gussy is and let Floyd know it with a little growl. Floyd immediately backed down. He's so not an alpha dog. He just wanted to play! Anyway, Brandon and Michelle, Kip's parents, were very sweet and we hope to run into them again soon. (That is Michelle's head I chopped off!) A dog can never have too many buddies!
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
