Today we had our yearly Independence Day party. Usually we'd call it our 4th of July party but since the 4th was in the middle of the week, we had it on the weekend which made it NOT on the 4th so calling it a 4th of July party was slightly inaccurate and I'm a stickler for accuracy. Therefore, I've called it our Independence Day party to be 100% honest.
More honesty: I had my D800 hidden up in our closet all day. There were 30 kids and water: not a combination I was ready for with my camera. Therefore, I took out the 5100 for it's swan song and it came through like a champ for me. I took hundreds of pics and posted the decent ones up on Eyal's site for the party-goers to view and download if they wanted them. Some were pretty cool but I thought this one exemplified the day best. I added lens correction, curve adjustments and some sharpening. I had to export it at 80% for some strange reason. Maybe the sharpening did something strange to it. I don't know. (18mm, f7.1, 1/200)
