Every year, we bring the girls into town for a morning. We stop at G. Willikers and usually end up with a new stuffed animal or something like that, get some dog treats at Dawgdom for Floyd, then eat some lunch before heading to the carousel in Congress Park and then back to the lake.
This year was no exception. I attempted to get some slower speed shots with a little blur. For the most part this one was successful. I would have liked to get the eye of the horse more crisp but it is what it is. (ISO 200, 44mm, f7.1, 1/30)
I did get pics of the girls on the horses as well:
We had lunch at Uncommon Grounds so I have a few shots for the coffee shop page this year too.

Another uniquely Saratoga stop is the Candy Co. where we stop in to get some mints and caramels. I always bring a little something back with me for my BFF. ;)
Across the street from the carousel, there is a spring. It's a very picturesque and "Saratoga" spot. I shot a few pictures of the gazebo on the way back to the car. Yeah, people gave me some questioning looks as I was laying on the ground to get the second one.
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
