OK, so my attempt to capture Floyd in front of the fire was not exactly a winner. I tried pet photography once more today and I did remember the first rule. I was focused on her near eye.
A little background to this pic: I was in the living room folding laundry when Cecelia came sauntering past me to my bedroom door. She stopped and looked at me then let out with a mewl that quiet honestly startled me. She continued until I stood up and followed her into the bedroom. She stood next to the bed meowing at me until I realized she wanted me to turn the bed warmer on for her! Can you believe how spoiled she is!!!! As payback for my turning on the bed warmer, she had to pose for me while I took a few shots. The one above came out the best but I also like this one:
It's blurry and not a great shot but it makes me laugh since she pretends to be so dignified (just like a cat) but when she yawns, she's just like the rest of us: a bit of a mess.
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
