As I mentioned a few days ago, my parents paid for Macy's first month of Guitar lessons. I looked around for a good school for her. There were many options including an instructor who would come to our house! After getting bogged down in so many options, I realized that at this level, who cares if she has the best instructor in the area? As long as she is learning something and having fun, it's all the same up to a point. Therefore when I found a Living Social deal for Burton's School of Arts, 1/2 mile from the gym, I stopped the research and just went with it. For 50% off the first month, I couldn't go wrong. He didn't require I pay for 6 months up front or anything like that so I figured, lets try it out and if she doesn't like it, we'll try something else.
Today was her first lesson. She was thrilled she got to learn "Happy Birthday" which was her first goal. We'll see how much she practices though. It's painfully slow still.
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
