I really need to step up my game. It's only 2 days into the year and I'm already resorting to something like this.
The story is: we had the Ayscue's over for dinner and the girls stayed the night which included dips in the hot tub and a movie with pop corn. They had to warm up in front of the fire for a few minutes after running through the cold soaking wet so I grabbed a quick shot. It took me 4 tries since I had been playing with it earlier in the day and my settings were all off. The first shot was actually a better shot of the girls' faces but was so underexposed it was unsalvageable.
I will have to get back in the habit of checking my settings before every shot since I'm going to be playing with it more. Last time I did this, I think it too me until Sept before I started doing it reliably. Hopefully, I will be a little quicker this time.
Here's what I was shooting earlier that had my settings all whacky:
He's all cute and cuddly but it's not a great picture so I gave up.
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
