Every week, I drive past this street and the uniformity of this particular section of it always speaks to me. Today I brought my camera specifically to shoot this. In hindsight I should have put my larger lens on to really get the stacked look I was hoping for so maybe next week I will do that. The light was terrible today anyway but it was a first attempt. It also looks much better from the driver seat of my car so I may have to pull over on my way into the neighborhood and shoot from my car window to get a little higher. I'm certain if anyone happened to look out their window while I was shooting this in a drizzling rain, they were ready to call the police to report suspicious activity though. I tried either side of the street, standing, squatting, on my toes, farther away, closer to it, smaller aperture, larger aperture, slower shutter speed, faster shutter speed, various ISOs... Nothing seemed to really work. I spruced it up a little in LR5 but it's still not what I had in mind.
I'm a mother of 2 girls living in NC. I've dabbled in photography on and off but really this is just for fun
